It’s been quite the week. Our daughter is struggling academically. After various testing and doing other things, it’s hard to know what to do. Mostly, it’s hard seeing our child struggle and figuring out what the next step is.

We also started watching cheesy Christmas movies on Netflix.🧀 They’re providing some much needed light-heartedness and laughter!

I hope that whatever hard thing you’re going through, you’ll make time for cheesy movies and things that bring you joy and laughter!

Another Pie…in Aztec!

Last week, I highlighted a great pie for your Thanksgiving spread or for any day of the week!

This week, I want to highlight a different kind of pie, a pizza pie.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Ramsey Realty in Aztec for providing the recommendation.

They recommended the Bruschetta pizza from 550 Pizzeria. It did not disappoint!! It was loaded with fresh tomatoes and a balsamic glaze. Would you try this pie?

While the pizza was baking, I learned that the dough and sauce are made from scratch, the cheese is hand-grated to avoid anti-clumping agents, allowing it to melt beautifully, and it’s baked in a wood-fired brick oven.

The pizza was absolutely delightful! I definitely felt like I was eating at an upscale pizza shop in Durango, not Aztec!🤣

Where to go: 550 Pizzeria, 119 N. Main Ave., Aztec, NM | Monday - Saturday from 11am-9pm | I recommend eating it there. The pizza is best right out of the wood-fired brick oven!
