So pie season is one of my favorite seasons.

Who doesn’t love a good slice of pie? Well, maybe my children, but they still think instant ramen is the world’s greatest food!🍜

So I found a pie that is locally made, made with simple ingredients (no food dyes, preservatives, or corn syrup), and is bursting with flavor!

It’s also NOT a pie that is found in all the grocery stores. So everyone will want to try it at Thanksgiving!

It’s the strawberry rhubarb pie at Desert Oasis.

Where to buy: Desert Oasis is a charming, Mennonite-run bakery, market, and deli. They make all of their pies in their store. They’re taking orders now for Thanksgiving. 5600 Mickey Drive, Tuesday - Saturday, 7am - 5pm

The peach pie is a beauty! Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it — it tasted just like those canned peaches you’d find in a nursing home (that’s exactly what comes to mind whenever I eat canned peaches🤣).
