As the year is coming to a close, we have an important tradition. We think it’s the MOST important year-end tradition.

This is our tradition: We scroll through our camera rolls in our phones and look back on the past year.

When we do this, we are amazed, delighted, and surprised about how good God has been to us!

Cake

You’re probably so tired of sweets!

But in the famous words of Julia Child, “A party without a cake is just a meeting.”

We couldn’t agree more! My sister’s birthday is on January 1st.

So instead of making a mess of our kitchen, we’ll buy her a Chantilly Almonds Cake from Smith’s.

It’s the perfect cake. It’s light, fluffy, and not dry and dense. It’s also frosted with whipped cream, so it’s not sickly sweet.
